Wellways HealthCall is a registered service provider under the NDIS in all our areas of operation.
We are able to offer the complete range of support services that are agreed to in a participants NDIS plan. Wellways HealthCall is also able to offer Support Coordination. In North Queensland, a Behavioral Support Team is available to assist clients.
Wellways HealthCall offers a range of services that will assist clients to maintain a positive quality of life in their own homes. These services include:
- Meal preparation
- Grocery shopping
- Light housekeeping
- Laundry service and ironing
- Pet / plant care
Respite is where family carers take a break from their caring duties to take some time out to meet their own needs. Respite is essential for families in caring situations to give them some ‘me time’ so that they can continue in their caring role.
Wellways HealthCall offers both in-home respite and out-of-home respite.
In-home respite is where Wellways HealthCall support staff come into the client’s home and support them in an environment in which they feel comfortable and safe. This service can be offered from 1 hour up to 24/7.
Out-of-home respite is where clients come into one of Wellways HealthCall respite houses located in Toowoomba and Roma. Both of these houses provide a home-like environment to ensure the greatest level of comfort and safety to clients who stay there.
